Is There a Solo Leveling VR Game? What Actually Exists in 2026
Short answer: no official Solo Leveling VR game exists. As of September 2026, Netmarble's Solo Leveling: ARISE (mobile and PC) and Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE (PC, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions slated for Q3 2026) are flat-screen games, and we could find no announcement of a VR mode for either. What you can do in VR today is play an independent Solo Leveling-style game — ARISE on Meta Quest 3 — which is what this site is about. Here is the full picture so you can decide for yourself.
Every Solo Leveling game and whether it supports VR
| Game | Who makes it | Platforms | VR? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo Leveling: ARISE | Netmarble (official licence) | iOS, Android, PC — launched May 2024 | No. Flat-screen action RPG with gacha progression. |
| Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE | Netmarble (official licence) | PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store since 17 November 2025; PS5 and Xbox Series X|S announced for Q3 2026 | No. Co-op action RPG; no VR mode announced. |
| VRChat avatars and worlds | Fans (unofficial) | PC VR and Quest, inside VRChat | Yes — but it is social VR, not a game loop. You can look like a hunter; you cannot level like one. |
| ARISE (this site) | Salvus Industries (independent, unofficial) | Meta Quest 3 / 3S browser via WebXR; flat on phone and desktop | Yes. A Solo Leveling-style action RPG: hand-tracked combat in your own room, shadow extraction, hunter ranks, real-life training. Free to start. |
Can you play Solo Leveling: ARISE on a Quest 3?
Not as a VR game. The Quest 3 has no native version of Netmarble's title. You could stream the PC version to the headset as a flat virtual screen through a remote-desktop app, but that is a monitor floating in front of you, not VR gameplay. If what you want is to be in a gate with your own hands, that is a different kind of game — see below.
What a Solo Leveling VR game needs — and how ARISE delivers each part
- A System window that only you can see. ARISE spawns holographic System panels in your room: stats, quests, alerts, rank-ups. They stay where you pin them.
- Combat you feel. Enemies stand on your floor in passthrough. You punch, block with both fists, and pull weapons out of rifts with your hand. Hand tracking is fully supported; controllers work too.
- ARISE — shadow extraction. Pinch over a fallen enemy to raise it as a shadow soldier. Your shadows persist, level up with you, fight beside you, and can even take your place in the fight. Details in Build a Shadow Army in VR.
- Levels that mean something. Seven stats, hunter ranks from F to Monarch, and daily training quests. Real reps fund your gate entries — the System does not let you skip leg day.
- No install. It runs on WebXR in the Quest browser. Open ariseinvr.com/play, tap ENTER AR, done. Walkthrough: how to play on Quest 3.
Will Netmarble make an official Solo Leveling VR game?
We do not know, and neither does anyone outside Netmarble. Their 2026 roadmap that we could find covers the ARISE championship series and the console release of OVERDRIVE. If an official VR title is announced we will update this page. Until then, the VR gap is filled by independent games — and ARISE is built to be the one worth your time.
