How to Play a Solo Leveling-Style VR Game on Quest 3 — No Install Needed

The short version: put on your Meta Quest 3, open the built-in browser, go to ariseinvr.com/play, and tap ENTER AR. That is the entire installation. ARISE runs on WebXR — the web standard for VR — so there is no store download, no APK, no sideloading, and no developer mode.

What you need

Step by step

  1. Open the Meta Quest Browser from the dock inside your headset.
  2. Type ariseinvr.com/play in the address bar.
  3. Tap ENTER AR. Passthrough switches on — you see your own room — and a System window materialises in front of you: DO YOU WISH TO BECOME A PLAYER?
  4. Say yes. From there the game walks you through your awakening: your stats, your first gate, and your first weapon draw.
Tip — bare hands are the intended way to play. Punch enemies, raise both fists to block, grip a hilt sticking out of a rift and pull to draw it, flick your wrist to throw a dagger, and pinch over a fallen enemy to extract its shadow into your permanent Shadow Army.

What kind of game is it?

ARISE is an original action RPG inspired by the Solo Leveling fantasy — hunter ranks from F to Monarch, combat gates, a System that issues daily quests, and shadow extraction. Real-life training matters: exercise reps fund your gate entries, so levelling up in the game means levelling up yourself. It is an independent game by Salvus Industries, not an official Solo Leveling title.
